I should've known...

It seems that what my friend said that i never learn my lesson is true. Particularly with certain people. It happened again today. Again, i fell into the same mistake. I let this person ruined my day. The thing i hate the most is bcoz i am the one responsible for the bitter result. I was the one to open the chance to happen. "I should've known!"....
Uuuuurgh....i hate it. Several times i promise myself to be aware. Still, i got carried away with the idea different topic, different situation, time passed by, people change. I WAS WRONG...Those ideas are just not applicable to these kinds of human being.
I feel like banging my head on the wall. Finding myself doing the same foolishness is almost unforgivable to me. I guess i really need self hypnosis at the moment.

I went to Europe (the sequel)

In Paris, we stayed in two different hotels: Mercure resort and Residhome apparthotel. Both are located outside Paris and both hotels are nice, much different from the hotels we had previously, especially in Italy.  Two nights in Paris was actually not enough. But we had no choice, we had to move.
Bruxelles (Brussels) is the next city after Paris. It took us about 3.5 hours to get there. Even though Bruxelles is a big city in Belgium, there was not much to see there. We were there for less than 3 hours. Buying chocolates was my main purpose in Bruxelles. Apparently i also got nice bag there. Next, we left Belgium for Amsterdam.
We arrived in Amsterdam almost 9. The wind was cold. It was truly autumn weather. We stayed in Crowne Plaza, a hotel near Schipol airport. This hotel was the best. We had a city tour. We went along the canals. The ride was not as nice as the one we had in Seine river, for sure. Seine is much larger river  and the view around was much nicer.
We went to a photo studio where we posed wearing Dutch clothing. I looked really funny in Dutch dress. We also visited Gassan diamond factory. Gassan is diamond brand used by branded labels like Chopard, Tissot, Tag Heuer, Guess, etc. We were explained the different kinds and qualities of diamonds. Quite many places to visit, right? Sure, coz at the end of the day i felt really exhausted. However, we still made time to browse around the red-light district. Wow...those women really showed what they got :D though it was still during the day. Actually some friends invited me to see the city at night, but i was too exhausted. I prefer enjoying the hotel room instead, as i prepared my stuff for the next day's departure to Dubai.
I wish i could stay longer in Europe. And i hope i still have loads of chance to visit Europe next years...and the next years...and the next years...

I (finally) went to Europe

After being delayed one year from the original plan, my friend and I decided to take the west Europe tour without London this late summer. We just had to leave London behind at the moment, otherwise we couldnt go there this year. And I myself were tired of delaying this plan again and again.
We were supposed to start in Rome, but the schedule was changed due to flight availability. We started in Venice then to Rome. Just like all the tourists visiting Venice, we took gondola through the canals. It was nice. The weather was nice too. A nice afternoon to enjoy the gondola ride. The next day we went to Rome. First in Rome, we went into Saint Peter Basilica church in Vatican. It was amazing. All the details and area were historical. Actually, Rome is like museum in a form of a city. I really hate I couldnt spend much time there since we had to catch up visiting Pisa tower in the afternoon. We couldnt even get inside Coloseum. Urrgh... Only taking photos from distance.
The next day, we went to Milan before going to Switzerland.
In Switzerland, i saw and touched the snow for the first time. This country has a very beautiful scenery with all the unique houses and buildings, just like in children stories and old movies. So peaceful and free from pollution. We spent two nights there before heading for Paris.
In Paris, we had a city tour and (of course) shopping. Unfortunately, visiting Louvre is not included in the agenda. We could only see the outside part of the museum. As we took the city tour, I remember some parts of Dan Brown's novel, Da Vinci Code. After lunch we were given time to go shopping. It's hard to believe to see many people (mostly Asian) queuing in Louis Vuiton gallery. What for? Of course to buy those expensive LV bags. They lined up there as if they were about to get free meals :) Before evening we made time to go through Seine River to view the city from the boat. Eiffel tower is amazing at night, with all the lights and clear sky as background.
