... And vampires won't like me

For the past two and a half months i've been changing my eatling habit.  I didn't use to have breakfast early in the morning before.  It was really hard for me to eat at 6, even at 7... let alone earlier than that.  I could only bear a cup of coffee to 'wake me up'.  I could bear brunch but not breakfast.  Consequently, i usually had late lunch since i was still full at noon.  Apparently,  that kind of eating habit worsened my blood status.  I was identified of having severe anemia with severe low ferritin.  My hb was 6.3 only, while normal woman should have at least 11.7.  A friend said, "Vampires would not like to haunt you,  then... someone with little and thin blood liquid".  Heheee...
My ferritin was lower than 2 when normal people should have 15-150.  Ferritin is protein/enzyme containing iron stored in human bones.   It functions mainly to catalyze food supply to blood in order for us to get energy.  People with low ferritin has high risk of osteoporosis and bones easily cracked.  People like me would easily get fainted and dizzy,  not to mention easily get tired...
Funnily, i never got fainted.  I did get tired after office hours, but i thought it was just normal.  It was just usual tiredness, not fatigue-like.  The doctor said my body already adapted with the condition, and i was likely to lead a happy life,  that was why i appeared fine.  However, i couldn't stay with that kind of health condition coz it would risk my health in the long run, not to mention that i will have to go through surgery in the near future.
So, there goes the change of my eating habit.  Now, i must have breakfast (big one if possible).  And it must include eggs, with the ratio 3:1 for albumin over egg yolk.  I must drink juice, milk with high calcium.  I surely have to eat a lot.  Eat meat a lot (i like this one ).  And wait...that's not enough.  I must be infused with iron liquid oncr every 2-3 weeks.
And here i am now...chubby...doesn't matter.  My hb is already 10.2, my ferritin is already 20...not bad,  right?  I still need to get the iron transfusion this afternoon.  "One more," said the doctor.  Well, it's been the second time she said 'one more'.

Just now, i had my breakfast... rice with fried tofu and chicken soup, plus two sets of cheese sandwich.  Heheee....

Annoying cough

During this Ramadhan, I've been having annoyingly unpredictable cough. I call it unpredictable coz I really don't know what triggers it. Anything seems to be a possible trigger: smoke, dust, cold, fried food...not really sure which triggers the most. But once I get coughed, it's really hard to make it stop. It wouldn't stop until I feel like throwing up. I guess I'm gonna declare it as my most enemy at the moment. I hate it.

Oh God, what sickness do I have here?

Cough and cold have been coming off and on to me for the past few weeks ( I think it's even more than a month). Last Sunday, the cough reached its toll. I didn't know exactly what the trigger was, but it was so bad that i couldn't even get up on Monday morning for the meeting at the office. I even got fever Monday night.

I pushed myself to come to Tuesday training since it is compulsory and went to the doctor afterward. Sore throat was the doctor's diagnosis. She gave me some antibiotics and cough pills. Three days passed, i have taken all those pills. My cough was still there. I didn't even get better. The worst is.... the night I didn't take the antibiotics anymore, I couldn't sleep coz I coughed the whole night. Oh my God... Thoough I didn't get fever nor cold, but it was enough to make me feel so exhausted Saturday morning.

I went to another doctor yesterday. It so happened that i went to the clinic where i often visited a long time ago since it was only next to my office. The doctor read my medical record and said that It seems I get cough quite often and it usually occurs at night. I didn't realize that before. He said he couldn't prescribe me another antibiotics since I just finish with one.
He happened to ask if my family has a history on asthma. I said no. He suspected that there is a possibility that i got asthma, though he is not really sure.
Then he prescribed me some medicine for asthma. He warned me to pay attention to the first reaction. If it worked well, I could continue. He also asked me to come back on monday or tuesday to know the result.

Since yesterday I have been taking this medicine. Though I don't cough as hard as i did before, and i can breathe well, the cough is still there. Besides, there is something funny, each time I drink the asthma syrup, I will feel that i'm boneless and want to sleep all the time...
even though sometimes i feel like coughing, it's juat hard to wake up.

At the moment, my throat is still itchy off and on. I plan to come back to the doctor tomorrow or the next day...
Oh God...this is tiring...
And I'm still not sure what really makes me cough this bad.....am i having sore throat? asthma? or what?
